Laslie Labs operates an automated post-visit follow-up platform for healthcare providers. After a procedure, the application places an automated voice call to check on a person's recovery. If that call is not answered, and only if that number has separately opted in to text messages, the application sends one SMS offering a call back now or at a time they choose, and handles the reply.
All messages are generated and sent by the application. No person composes, types, or sends any message.
Text messages are optional and are never required to use the platform or to receive calls.
